Reduced DART Fare Pass Program
Guidelines to be eligible for assistance with DART Reduced Fare Pass ID:
- Legally Blind
- Deaf or profound hard of hearing
- Non- ambulatory without assistance or use of medical aid
- 80 % disability allowance through the Veterans Administration
- Social Security Disability Income
- Mentally Disabled
- Seizure disorder
*YOU MUST HAVE YOUR DOCTOR’S LETTER SPECIFYING THE NATURE OF YOUR DISABILITY. DOCTOR LETTER MUST BE ON THIER OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD AND SIGNED BY THE DOCTOR*
Steps to get Reduced DART Fare Pass ID:
- Get a letter from the doctor
- Schedule an appointment by calling either our Dallas or Plano Office
- Bring your required documents with you to REACH:
- TX Driver’s license or TX Photo ID
- Name, Address, & Telephone Number
- Proof of eligibility:
- Doctor’s letter
- Medicare card ( if over 65)
- VA Card ( if applicable)
