Dear Customers,
We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and associates very seriously. Like you, we're closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have been practicing social distancing over the past weeks and have had some staff work remotely. Effective immediately, all HIMS staff will now be working remotely due to a shelter-in-place order in the Austin Texas area where we are headquartered. We have temporarily closed our office to comply with these new orders and to protect and care for those who work with us, our customers, and the public.

Accessing Support
HIMS will continue to offer phone and email support for our devices with no changes to our operating hours. If you need support you can call us toll-free at 1-888-520-4467 and choose extension 1, or send an email to support@hims-inc.com.
As part of our commitment to supporting you we have increased our phone and email support staff to address your issues during this time of transition.
Unfortunately, during the shelter-in-place order we must make changes into how we provide hardware support. If you need hardware support we ask that you please contact us immediately. Please do not ship any devices to HIMS for repair unless explicitly told to do so as we cannot ensure receipt of packages.

Product Evaluations and Demonstrations
Despite the current situation, we are here and will continue to be here to help you. We know how critical HIMS devices are for education, work, and staying connected and informed. We also need to keep our employees safe and healthy, which is why we are moving all product demonstrations and evaluations into virtual environments.

The BrailleSense Polaris is compatible with the Zoom app found on the Google Play Store so we will be using Zoom as our primary method of holding webinars and providing product information. As many other companies, organizations, and educational institutions are also using Zoom we recommend that you become familiar with this software by visiting their COVID-19 resource page https://zoom.us/docs/en-us/covid19.html.

Due to the shelter-in-place order we will have limited shipping capabilities and delivery times may be impacted. We will inform you of your expected delivery date shortly after receiving your order.
