REACH Inc. CEO Jenny Stonemeier Appointed to National Council on Independent Living Board of Directors
Dallas, TX – August 18, 2025 – REACH Inc., a leading Center for Independent Living serving North Texas, is proud to announce that Chief Executive Officer Jenny Stonemeier has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) as a Member-at-Large.
The appointment, made by NCIL President Jason Beloungy, fills a board vacancy through July 2026. In this role, Stonemeier will also serve as Chair of the CIL Capacity Building Committee and Co-Chair of the Advocacy and Public Policy Committee, as well as join the NCIL Executive Committee.
NCIL is the longest-running national cross-disability, grassroots organization run by and for people with disabilities. Through advocacy, policy influence, and capacity building, NCIL works to advance the rights and independence of people with disabilities nationwide.
“Jenny brings decades of leadership experience, and a deep commitment to disability rights,” said Beloungy. “Her vision and collaborative approach will be invaluable to NCIL’s work in strengthening the national Independent Living Network, and advancing its advocacy priorities.”
Stonemeier, who has led REACH Inc. since 2023, has a distinguished history of championing accessibility, expanding services for people with disabilities, and strengthening nonprofit governance. Under her leadership, REACH has expanded programming, strengthened community partnerships, and elevated its advocacy profile across Texas.
